Sign up or log in to save this to your schedule, view media, leave feedback and see who's attending!

People with hoarding disorder (HD) typically have great trouble resisting urges to purchase items or to acquire free items. Learning to resist these urges is an important part of helping individuals manage the condition. In this experiential workshop, therapists with experience in treating people with HD will accompany individuals with HD on a non-shopping excursion. With the support of the therapists and other group members, participants will learn strategies to resist compulsive urges and to practice these strategies during an excursion to shops near the conference site to practice.
